  • Overview

    The Sr. Marketing Manager will be at the core of the marketing department’s intersection with the inside sales team, responsible for executing and maintaining programs that deliver high-value prospective customer accounts to the sales organization. We have invested in data and marketing technologies to enable account based marketing at scale and the Sr. Marketing Manager’s core responsibility will be to get those systems finely tuned so that they deliver accounts with the quantity and quality needed to keep the inside sales organization efficient and effective.


    • Design full-funnel marketing campaigns that warm prospective accounts for the sales team to work and then support them from opportunity-to-close
    • Lead and execute integrated, multi-channel, multi-touch marketing campaigns by employing the right mix of inbound and outbound efforts, account-based, and paid media strategies across all channels and mediums to drive revenue and effective ROI on marketing spend
    • Execute campaigns utilizing our marketing technology stack
    • Assess, manage and utilize existing prospect account data sources as well as continually assess need for new data sources
    • Ensure that the sales funnel us full by always having a sufficient number of quality accounts that the inside sales team is working in order to drive revenue
    • Be one of our marketing technology subject-matter experts
    • Support other marketing initiatives as needed
    • Assist SVP of Marketing with marketing strategies for our brand and launch of new campaigns to drive revenue
    • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of marketing spend and campaigns on sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length
    • Partner with sales teams to identify new lead opportunities, ensure agreement on priorities, and adjust as required by changing market conditions and emerging opportunities
    • Evaluate, select, and manage outside vendors as needed
    • Own the relationship with sales and forge strong communication between the marketing and sales teams


    Accountabilities and Performance Measures:

    • Accountable for driving full-cycle marketing campaigns with quality account generation and account list management that leads to revenue
    • Accountable for creating a strong, effective relationship between the marketing and sales teams with a focus on supporting sales throughout the sales/marketing funnel in a way that drives closed sales
    • Working/managing to deadlines



    Organizational Alignment:


    • Reports to the SVP, Product & Marketing
    • Works closely with inside sales team to ensure lead generation is effective
    • Works closely with sales team to support buyer journey materials
    • Directs outsourced outside vendors as neededs


    • Outcome-based orientation
    • Demonstrable experience working directly with sales organizations, ideally inside sales and more generally with new customer acquisition marketing
    • Experience with running account-based marketing programs
    • Demonstrable experience with executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
    • Significant experience with account or lead gen data
    • 10+ years B2B marketing experience or equivalent
    • Deep understanding of and demonstrated abilities with marketing technologies
    • Top-notch communicator
    • Ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic, high-pressured environment
    • Data-driven with the ability to translate the data into effective, strategic action
    • Highly analytical with a metrics-driven approach and a drive for data decision-making
    • Ability to monitor, manage, and execute on a variety of tasks and efforts at different stages of discovery and execution
