  • Overview

    The Mobile Manager assumes the role and responsibilities as a Project Manager when supporting an Agility members test or declare. The Mobile Manager must have presence and demeanor capable of communicating with Member executive representation [VP. to CEO] dealing with issues before, during and after recoveries. The Mobile Manager is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and completing setup, configuration, and deployment of all equipment including Space, Power, Technology and Connectivity for off-site mobile events to include but not limited to disaster recovery tests, sites and disaster declarations in support of Agility’s members. Additional responsibilities involve office/administrative coordination as well as on the ground/site management and execution. The Mobile Manager is further responsibilities are:


    • Managing the pool of resources including mobile vendors, fuel vendors, temporary labor agencies, data wiring subcontractors, transportation/logistics companies, generator providers and insure that all required resources are strategically and optimally engaged for member testing and disaster declarations.

    • Manages and develops relationships within the alternate space program, specifically with Simpson Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Carr Workplaces, providing brick and mortar space options to augment the ReadySuite Solution. As new vendor opportunities arise in this area the Mobile Manager will actively seek to vet and develop those opportunities.

    • Manages and develops relationships within the fuel program, specifically with Jaguar Fuels, PS Energy, and Atlas Oil, providing fuel solutions for customers in recovery and/or test situations. As new vendor opportunities arise in this area the Mobile Manager will actively seek to vet and develop those opportunities and ensure there is a working S.O.W in place.

    • Manages and develops opportunities to support the Agility generator program, specifically with respect to electricians, working to source and recommend electrical contractors when needed by Agility customers. As new vendor opportunities arise in this area the Mobile Manager will actively seek to vet and develop those opportunities and ensure they meet Agilities criteria and operating model.

    • Has a working knowledge of canopy generators to include staging, transportation, setup, operation and troubleshooting at time of service. Has a basic working knowledge of electricity around sizing feeds for a customer’s site, connecting generators to both mobile units and a customer’s facility and advising customers around generator setup, operation, installation and placement. Works with our customers and vendors to maintain fuel in the generator while deployed to a customer site.


    • Provides support to Agility members in the setup, execution and teardown of a Mobile Recovery Services field testing and or disaster declaration event.

    • Assists the various business development teams, pre-sales, sales support, member services and external business partners in order to generate and/or technically verify Mobile Recovery Services solutions that will be proposed to members.

    • Forecasts budgets for projects, tests, declarations dictated by customer requirements; maintains financial control of testing and disaster recoveries including POs, invoicing, and reconciliation of costs vs. budget.

    • Provide estimates to Member Services, Sales & Sales Support for all test and recovery events.

    • Supports Agility Members throughout North America and Canada during a disaster declaration.

    • Escalates and resolve all issues in a timely manner.

    • Provides on-call support (24x7x365) for all members who may be experiencing technical difficulties during tests or disasters.


    • On site responsibilities are physically demanding. Individual should be able to lift 50lbs without strain.

    • Excellent communication skills with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, VISIO and PowerPoint.

    • Must be able to take ownership, handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, be attentive to detail and possess excellent problem solving skills and work in a team environment.

    • Capacity to manage an unpredictable travel schedule during the execution of disaster recovery operations. Further key asset would be proven leadership skills plus demonstrated project management experience. Travel for tests, declares, and sales events can range anywhere from 35% - 45% of time.

    • Ideal individuals should have 3-5 years of field experience in the construction [building code, sub contractual relationships, vendor responsibilities] or closely related industry with a working knowledge of the mobile office industry. Key responsibilities will involve managing the Mobile Recovery Services offerings to ensure contractual obligations are consistently and successfully met, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

    • Takes direction from Mobile Operations Manager. Reports to Chief Information Officer.

    • Other duties as assigned.
