We are looking for a Network Architect to join our Operations team in our new facility in Las Vegas to help facilitate disaster recovery tests and recoveries.


Qualified candidates should have a strong background in network (LAN) and must have some experience working with satellite communications.  Voice and security experience is a plus.  Candidates should also possess strong written and verbal communication skills.


  • Provide Disaster Recovery support across assigned network platforms.
  • Support delivery of all technology, furniture, and communication equipment in response to ad hoc customer requests for testing or recovery requirements under “Best Effort” response, scheduled events, as well as disaster recoveries.
  • Support the customer exercises by providing installation, setup, user support for the Satellite, wireless bridge, LTE wireless devices, telephone and all custom technology before and during the exercises.
  • Keep Routers, Switches and Security appliances up-to-date with IOS updates compatible with feature set requirements. Ensure Agility default configurations and passwords are added patches, firmware and driver updates, as identified and keep up-to-date driver and start-up media for every piece of equipment
  • Assist customers in the testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Facilitate technology, space, connectivity and power as it applies to exercising the customer’s disaster recovery plans in mock scenarios or in the form of organized tests or actual declarations.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors when necessary for tests, recoveries, tours, and presales support.
  • Follow, create, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
  • Communicate matters of importance, general updates, and updating internal business software systems in an effective and timely manner.


  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, be attentive to detail, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Be on call 24x7x365 and ready to respond to emergency recovery declarations across the United States and Canada by being prepared to report for a flight with 2 hour notice, or provide remote support for all customers who may be experiencing technical difficulties during tests or disasters.
  • Be able to travel minimum of 30% travel to customer sites within North America.
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs and rack-mount multiple servers and lift other heavy equipment on a daily basis, and work in extreme weather conditions for prolonged hours in cases of emergency response.
  • Ability to communicate with customers of varying levels of IT knowledge to determine what pieces of technology are required for testing or recovery.
  • Repair damaged or faulty equipment in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain documentation of all events and customer contact via internal business software systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
