    Agility Recovery is seeking an outstanding junior level Staff Accountant candidate to join our team in Denver, Colorado.  Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this individual will be responsible for general ledger accounting functions including pass-through billing, operating expense accruals, sales and property tax, as well as other various general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.  Additionally may be required to back-up the Accounts Payable function on occasion and complete various ad hoc projects as requested.  


    • Prepare monthly journal entries in compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and corporate policies and procedures
    • Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations and financial reporting analysis
    • Compile recovery event costs and invoice customers
    • Build strong working relationships with all levels of the Finance to support external audits, forecasting, budgeting and process improvement initiatives
    • Be an active team player throughout Agility to help meet company objectives


    • Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance or Business with 1 -3 years of related experience.
    • Strong research and reconciliation skills required
    • Knowledge of Intacct, SalesForce.com is a plus
    • Technically savvy with intermediate command of Microsoft Excel, and Word
    • Excellent attention to detail with effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required
    • Professional at all times with the ability to partner effectively across functional areas and experience levels
    • Flexible, able to work in a fluid environment with multiple on-going projects and deadlines
    • Able to work independently and meet deadlines without direct supervision
    • Ability to follow existing procedures along with the flexibility and creativity to develop and help implement new ones
