Overview

As a Technical Testing Specialist you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of the client interface and service delivery scheduling for the recovery testing, alerts and declarations. Developing the client interface for those events by maintaining the relationship throughout the test or declare situation as well coordinating the event through the service delivery organization.

 

In Summary: The Technical Testing Specialist is responsible for supporting clients in the development and execution of their business disaster recovery test scenarios and disaster recovery event. This position requires both:

Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct pretest calls; determining specifications, timetables, pricing, and manages their testing experience from pretest to posttest.
  • The coordinator will oversee the coordination of the Client’s recovery test and their interface with the Agility service delivery team and maintaining the relationship through the test experience.

            In addition, the coordinator is responsible for:

 

  • Work with the Client to identify their needs and the goals of the test
  • Recommends testing solutions and scopes by reviewing the Client’s needs, specifications, and requirements.
  • Schedule Client tests and arrange for applicable resources, including, test support staff, facilities and equipment 
  • Verify test configurations with Clients to ensure accuracy of hardware and operation system configurations
  • Work with technical support teams to expedite resolution of issues identified during test
  • Assist Pre-sales with customer technical configuration requirements including substitutions and alternative configurations
  • Ensure effective communication and documentation both internal and external resulting in increased client satisfaction.
  • First call responder and communicator for all activities related to recovering businesses during and after a crisis.
  • Supporting Agility’s clients in the event they are having a disaster that is affecting their business:
  • Being On-call through a 7/24 rotating schedule
  • Manage members’ recoveries by understanding, leading, advising, and coaching as required through a recovery, during and following a disaster.
  • Effective coordination of client expectations and service delivery to create a successful recovery.
  • Coordinating internal Agility resources (technical, logistics, network and mobile groups) to build an effective response to the clients disaster situation  
  • Ensure effective communication and documentation between our members and Agility resulting in increased customer satisfaction as well customer retention
  • Be focused on the goal of a successful recovery of the client.

Qualifications

 

  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong administrative experience
  • Excellent computer skills 3 to 5 years direct client support both telephone and face-to-face dealings
  • Resource coordination from both a staffing perspective as well as technology
  • Preferred Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) designation
  • Preferred CompTIA A+ Certified

 

*Must be available to atted training in our Duluth, GA office for 3 months.  Following the training the permanent location for role will be Las Vegas.
